Here is important information for our members relating to our Covid 19 safety practices
On Sunday 23rd January @ 11:59 PM 2022, Vitality Lab starts to operate under the new Covid Red Traffic Light level.
This looks a bit different to the previous Alert Level 2 settings and a lot different to Level 3.
Specific measures must be in place to ensure our members and staff stay safe. These are under guidance by our Government and include:

Staying home if you feel unwell. We cannot allow access to our gym or classes if you:

Have recently tested positive for COVID-19

Have any of the symptoms of COVID-19 and/or flu or cold e.g. cough, temperature, shortness of breath, sore throat, sneezing, runny nose or loss of smell.

Live with or have had close contact with anyone who has any of the above symptoms or has tested positive for Covid-19 and you haven’t self- isolated for 14 days.

Presenting your vaccine certificate for us to scan or providing this via email to keep on file (tristan@vitalitylab.co.nz). We are unable to let anyone into the gym or attend classes that cannot provide this.

Scanning our QR site code when you arrive at the gym. These can be found on either of our 3 outside doors and in our lobby.

For upstairs classes, please do not walk through the gym. Use the outside door

Distancing yourselves 1m apart at all times.

Wearing your facemasks before and after training. They are not required to be worn while exercising

Bringing your own mats, towels, boxing gloves and full water bottles

Sanitising hands before and after classes

Spraying your own equipment and floor space used. Disinfectant sprays will be provided

No sharing of equipment
There will be access to showers, changing rooms and toilets. But we suggest you arrive ready and dressed in your gym clothes. Spray bottles will be placed in these facilities.
All staff will be wearing masks, but group fitness instructors will not be required to wear masks when they are instructing classes
We are excited to see all our members again and, to operate safely, we will need everyone to adhere to the above COVID-19 Health and Safety rules.
As always we will do our very best to make your Vitality Lab experience amazing. We may encounter a few teething problems but aim to fix them as soon as possible; you feedback is so important for this!
